These crackers are nutty, crunchy, delicious, and oh so nutritious. Have them alone, with your favorite spread, or with one of the dips here on the site. They are a wonderful alternative to a fried snack. Yum!
1/2 cup Pumpkin Seeds
1/2 cup Chia Seeds
1/2 cup Sunflower Seeds
1/2 cup Sesame Seeds
1 cup Spring Water
1 Garlic Clove, large, organic, crushed
1 Tbsp. Brown Onion, grated
1/2 tsp. Sea Salt (or to taste)
1-2 tsp. Herbs or Spices you like
Preheat the oven to 325°, and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix all of the seeds together, and in a separate bowl, put the water, garlic, and grated onion. Pour the water mixture onto the seeds and stir until combined. It will get thicker. Season with salt and kelp granules. Also,if there is another herb or spice that you like, this would be the time to do so. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet lined with parchment. Smooth out the mixture on the pan with the back of a wooden spoon, until around 1/4" thick. Bake for 30 minutes, and then remove the tray from the oven. At this time you will slice them into crackers and bake for another 30 minutes. Keep an eye on them the last 5-10 minutes, and remove from the oven when they start to look a little golden. Allow to cool, and then remove them from the pan. Enjoy alone or with any dip that you like.
