People love making Mandalas! Even if you were not familiar with the word "Mandala", you have probably seenthese beautiful creations from around the world at one time or another. Mandala means "circle" in ancient Sanskrit, and they have been made and used for thousands of years; even going back to when we lived in caves. They are usually circles, however may be seen as a circle within a square. They are one of the most ancient art-forms, and are used for meditation, spiritual ceremonies, relaxation, law-of-attraction, and to create more joy in your life;.
There are many forms of Mandalas, and their beauty was originally created from designs within nature; from the largest examples to the smallest: Nebulae, flowers, pine cones, eyes, and cells (those not even visible with the human eye). Even crop circles are a form of mandala. Another way to look at them is that they are an ancient type of vision board. They can also help in reducing stress; while creating them, and afterward as they give an inner sense of calm, peace, and help with focus. It is easy to get lost while making your Mandala. The process itself is very meditative.

You have the option of making your Mandala simple, complex, symmetrical, or asymmetrical. It may be made completely with your own free sketching, or a combination of free-form
You can enjoy making a mandala at home with the use of these templates. Simply print them out, and then put your desired intention in the center (either with a symbol, word, photo, or drawing). Most printers can print on thicker paper, if you wish to use markers. Otherwise, colored pencils or oil pastels work nicely. Have fun!
