This is a refreshing starter, and very energizing with the addition of ginger and lime. It is a wonderful smoothie to have morning, or at any time. It is very healthy, cleansing, and refreshing.
1/2 cup Pineapple, organic, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup Peaches, organic, fresh or frozen
1/2 tsp. Ginger, grated
1 cup Coconut Milk (or rice, or soy, if you prefer)
*Optional: 1 Tbsp. Organic Honey (or Brown Rice Syrup)
Place ingredients in a blend and mix until smooth. (If you use fresh fruit, it is better to prepare it and freeze it first, so you do not have to use extra ice in the blending). Garnish with fresh fruit. *Depending on the sweetness of your fruit, and how you like it, you may want to omit this or adjust. Enjoy!
